FSU Men's Basketball Preview

WHAT TO EXPECT

This is perhaps the youngest team Leonard Hamilton has ever coached. There are six freshmen on the roster and he expects at least five of them to get significant minutes this season.

The highlight recruit in the 2008 class was Chris Singleton, who was considered one of the top 25 seniors in America last season. He will join an experienced front court that includes Ryan Reid and Uche Echefu.

Redshirt freshman Solomon Alabi, who stands 7-foot-1, will add plenty of size to the middle for the Seminoles, who didn't have a whole lot of that last season.

Toney Douglas is one of the most established scorers in the league and is a threat to go for 20 points on any night.

If sharpshooter Luke Loucks can find minutes on the court, he would give the FSU offense a perimeter threat it hasn't had in a long while.

If Singleton and the freshmen mesh well with the few, but solid, upperclassmen, the Seminoles could make some noise in the always-tough ACC.
