•RHP Matt Garza began 2006 with the Single-A Fort Myers Miracle of the Florida State League and hit every level, finishing that season with the Minnesota Twins.

•OF Gabe Gross started six games as a freshman quarterback for Coach Terry Bowden at Auburn University in 1998, passing for 1,222 yards and seven touchdowns.
