DOA Lures founder Mark Nichols, one of the nation's top inshore saltwater anglers, will be part of the team of dozens of expert anglers presenting detailed how-to seminars at this year's Tampa Tribune Outdoors Expo and Boat Show.
Nichols invented a plastic shrimp that has become iconic among shallow-water anglers for catching redfish, snook, tarpon and other species. He is also an expert tactician, specializing in catching sea trout of 10 pounds and up, often in ankle-deep water.
The Expo, Florida's largest outdoors show, is March 5-7 at the Florida State Fairgrounds east of Tampa. It is hosted by former Tribune Outdoors editor Frank Sargeant.
