NEED TO KNOW: The Bulls are coming off their first conference win of the season, a 73-64 victory against Rutgers. ... The win snapped a four-game losing streak and was the first for USF in 27 days. ... The Bulls are 11-1 when holding opponents to fewer than 69 points ... In its two nonconference losses, USF's average margin of defeat was three points; in its four Big East losses, it's 15. ... This is the first of consecutive road games for the Bulls, who play at Providence on Saturday. ... Junior G Dominique Jones, who has scored at least 20 points in four consecutive games and seven of the past nine, leads USF with 19.5 points per game. ... The Bearcats, who have three players averaging double figures in points, are led by freshman G Lance Stephenson (12.2).
