The U.S. men's national soccer team will play a World Cup qualifying match against Antigua and Barbuda on June 8 at Raymond James Stadium. The match begins at 7 p.m.
Ticket information has not been announced.
It's the first World Cup qualifier held in Florida since Nov. 23, 1980, when the U.S. defeated Mexico 2-1.
The U.S. and Antigua and Barbuda are part of Group A, along with Guatemala and Jamaica. Each opponent will meet twice, once at home and once away, in round-robin play. The top two teams in the group advance to the final round of qualifying in 2013, which leads into the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
