Release Of Dungy's New Book Moved Up To Next Week

INDIANAPOLIS --

A publisher plans to release a new book by former Indianapolis Colts and Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Tony Dungy three weeks earlier than previously scheduled.

Tyndale House Publishers said Monday it would release Dungy's book, "Uncommon: Finding Your Path to Significance," on Jan. 27 - five days before the Super Bowl.

Doug Knox of Tyndale House says interest in the book grew after Dungy announced last week that he was stepping down after seven years as the Colts coach.

In the new book, Dungy uses examples from his own life to provide lessons on how people can make their lives significant.

This is Dungy's third book. "Quiet Strength" became a best-seller just months after the Colts won the 2007 Super Bowl. Dungy also wrote a children's book "You Can Do It!" that was published last year.
