The information comes from the Florida Bureau of Fair Ride Inspection, part of the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Some caveats: The Small Parks/ Traveling Show database doesn’t include location information. And Florida doesn’t require the big parks, those with their own safety inspectors, to report all accidents to the state. The big parks do send the Bureau of Fair Ride Inspection a voluntary quarterly report of incidents they deem serious. Smaller parks are required to report every incident to the bureau and to submit to inspections. So buckle up, keep your hands and feet inside and experience the rougher side of amusement parks.
