ABOUT THIS DATABASE
Nearly $122 million in jackpot prizes went unclaimed and expired since the Florida Lotto’s inception in 1988. If the money had been claimed at a 30-year annuity instead of a one-time cash payment, it would have been about $218 million. People must claim their winnings within six months or the tickets expire. The Lotto chart shows the date the tickets were drawn, the location where the tickets were purchased, the estimated jackpot overall with a 30-year annuity and the estimated value of each ticket drawn with a 30-year annuity. The other two charts show outstanding and expired tickets for Mega Money and Fantasy 5 drawings in the past five years as of Tuesday, as well as how much people could claim if they chose to take their winnings in a lump sum.
