Florida's "natural" population shifts

A near-record number of counties across the country are seeing more deaths than births – a trend demographers refer to as “natural decrease.” Most Florida counties are still seeing more births than deaths, but a handful of counties that are home to lots of retirees – including Pasco, Pinellas, Hernando, Citrus and Sarasota – are following the national trend.
