About this data
“Luckiest” and “Unluckiest” rankings are based on prizes paid per $1 spent. “Total prizes” includes tickets for under $600, which can be cashed at any lottery retailer and are not tracked by store of purchase, and tickets for more than $600, redeemed at lottery offices and tracked by store of purchase. Lottery analysts say most smaller tickets are cashed where they are purchased. Source: Florida Lottery.
