Hillsborough County Unidentified Remains


The Hillsborough County Medical Examiner’s Office works to identify dozens of collections of human remains, some many years old. The office releases what information it does have in hopes of sparking a memory and helping give closure to survivors. Physical Description: w/m'; 30-40 yrs of age; 5' 4"; 163lbs; black hair= 1/4"-1" in length; eyes indeterminate color; patchy, black, facial hair/stubble; 1 brown belt; 1 blue trousers; 1 blue underpants; 1 multi-colored shirt; 1 t-shirt; 1 black wristwatch; 1 chop stick; 1 yellow paper; 1 green bag; 1 foreign coin. Physical description: Skull and jawbone; possible young black female; voodoo materials. image

Orange grove - Date remains found: 12/30/1982
Physical description: Skeletonized oriental female, 5'2" - 5'4", approximate age 50 (range 45-50). Full upper dentures. Old fracture of left cheek. Clothing: Blue jeans and panties near body. image

Tampa incinerator - Date remains found: 1/15/1976
Physical description: charred body; approx 21 y/o, probably black, male, 5'10", found in the incinerator.
