Looking Back On 2007

The year 2007 has been like a roller-coaster ride in the Bay area. The highs literally took our breath away: the USF Bulls football team’s stunning run of success, the birth of the state’s first set of sextuplets.

The lows were especially low: the loss of a beloved weatherman, the sharp downturn of the once robust housing market.

We also had some weird twists and turns: ice chunks falling from the sky, city manager sex changes, several massive food and toy recalls.

As another calendar year comes to an end, reflect back with us on the newsmakers of West Central Florida.

Which was the top local news story in 2007?
