Wal-Mart isn't the only 'Rollin' Back The Prices' place. I found that the Blue Crab restaurant is doing it too. Can you believe 99-cent coffee? In this day and age. And $1.99 for a draft beer. If you look you'll see a rollback on entrees too. It's almost un-American. But not according to Jim Pearson, brother to owner Bill Pearson, it's like offering their customers a "gas break" he told me. "It's a little too soon to tell if it's going to affect the bottom line," Jim said of the price adjustment. What they are hoping for is that an increase in customer volume will offset any loss from the individual meals. Because, Jim says, "When you give to the community quite often it comes back to you." LAKE PLACID – There are more homes on the market than just the conventional variety. Sun Ovation Homes has opened a manufactured homes sales center in Lake Placid at 1450 U.S. N., which is next to American Legion Post 25. The sales center is open from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday by appointment. There are seven models on the site. They range from two-bedroom, two bath to four-bedroom, three-bath homes, according to Valerie Kersey, who is the manager of the Lake Placid location.
