I live in a deed-restricted town home community and have a neighbor who thinks the county's right of way is her personal property. She will not allow me to put out my trash bags for pickup and throws my garbage and yard waste onto my driveway when I do. The association, various police officers, and waste removal service representatives have all spoken to her about this, and yet she refuses to allow me to utilize this service area. A wife and husband were arrested Monday on charges their five children were living under deplorable conditions. As Clearwater High School graduate Nicole Passonno Stott took a spacewalk Tuesday, her friends and family watched intently from Capogna's Dugout Italian Restaurant and Sports Bar. Television sets normally tuned to the Rays or Bucs in the Clearwater establishment were fixed on the NASA channel as Stott removed an ammonia tank from the International Space Station. The flight engineer is one of seven astronauts who blasted off Friday aboard space shuttle Discovery. TAMPA - The corporation that owns an ammonia pipeline that ruptured last year in Riverview didn't respond properly to the situation and should pay nearly $400,000 in fines, according to the U.S. Department of Transportation's Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration.
