Bait And Tackle

This past Saturday I had the pleasure to stop at the grand opening of the Outback USA Bait and Tackle Store. The radio station was on the air and enticed me being a fisherman that travels out of the area to get my bait and tackle to check it out. Being new to the area I was really surprised by the size, and the bait and tackle and marine hardware they displayed. I have been in many tackle stores and this is the best of the best. I met the owner Bob and complimented him and he walked me over to the rods and reels and handed my grandson a nice little spinner free of charge. ...more

Action Returns As Cold Weather Leaves

The first cold blast of the year arrived last week, quickly sending water temperatures down up to 15 degrees, so fishing took a three-day hit to wait out the winds and the return of some warm air. The pattern of periodic fronts will challenge anglers to pick and choose their fishing days carefully.
