A recent review (not in Highlands Today) was very unfair and very misleading with regards to the comments made about the production of "Beauty and the Beast" at Highlands Little Theatre. I sincerely hope that the review did not cost Highlands Little Theatre and the "Beauty and the Beast" performers any revenue from lost ticket sales. ...more

I have to admit I had mixed feeling about being at Highlands Little Theatre's production of "Beauty and the Beast" Saturday night, as I am a big fan of the Heartland Idol contest, and the finale for this season was Saturday night. But since my husband and I have season tickets for the theater and Saturday was our night, we had no choice to miss out on the Idol contest. ...more

Wow! What a fantastic show. Highlands Little Theatre (HLT) has a real beauty in its current production, "Beauty and the Beast." I took my grandchildren on Nov. 2 for tea and biscuits with Belle. The theater was filled with children and adults meeting the characters, collecting autographs, having their picture taken with Belle and at intermission everyone had a tea party. ...more

The troupes from the Little Theatre have once again out done themselves in their production of Elton John and Tim Rice's "Aida," a timeless love story. It was wonderful: the acting, the singing, the dancing, the costume design and the set. It was all outstanding. ...more
