Try 'Trickle-Up' It is surprising how little our politicians know about economics. A sound company is only possible if the people have sufficient money to purchase available consumer goods. Any "trickle-down" policy will simply fail, since money injected at the top tends to stay at the top and does not address the real problem-namely, lack of purchasing power at the bottom. ...more

Bush's recent presidency brings up an important question. Why do people having the best of intentions make mistakes? I'm sure Bush doesn't have a mean bone in his body, but he has made serious mistakes in judgment throughout his life. Giving up alcohol was his greatest achievement. But it didn't make him either wise or saintly. We all make mistakes in judgment. I believe this is because our negative fearful and angry reactions are not to be trusted. They make us believe we are doing the right thing, but in reality they are the cause of most of our deep-seated personal problems as well as our relationship problems.
