The SS American Victory, the restored cargo vessel berthed behind the Florida Aquarium, will set sail Saturday on her Salute to Veterans Cruise. The cruise on Tampa Bay will include ceremonies recognizing Merchant Mariners and honoring veterans and active duty military personnel. ...more

FLU SHOTS: Flu shots are recommended for everyone, especially those 50 or older, children, caregivers, people with chronic medical conditions and those who live in long-term-care facilities. The Pinellas County Health Department will offer flu shots for $25 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays throughout October, or as long as supplies last.
