A previously scheduled blood drive at Chamberlain High School turned into an impromptu outpouring of help for Interstate 4 accident victims Wednesday. Florida Blood Services organizers asked to extend the hours for collections after learning of the high demand for blood. Chamberlain made an announcement urging participation, and the response was fast. By early afternoon, 140 people had donated and more were coming in. ...more

TAMPA - Three years ago, news reports described how Chamberlain High School wide receiver Cody Overby ended his senior season limping off the field with a sore knee, a taped ankle and a shoulder that had popped out of joint.
