An 11-year-old boy hit by a car Sunday has died, St. Petersburg police said in a news release. Ricky Little was taken off life support Wednesday after being declared brain dead. The boy was with friends along the south side of 62nd Avenue South when a tennis ball they were playing with bounced into a nearby park, according to the news release. He chased after the ball. As he was crossing the street to come back, he waited for one car to pass, but ran into the path of an oncoming Chrysler Pacifica. ...more
