An 11-year-old boy hit by a car Sunday has died, St. Petersburg police said in a news release. Ricky Little was taken off life support Wednesday after being declared brain dead. The boy was with friends along the south side of 62nd Avenue South when a tennis ball they were playing with bounced into a nearby park, according to the news release. He chased after the ball.
