Cynthia Woods lost her son to gunfire three years ago. Today, her life was touched by violence again when an unknown gunman shot and killed her daughter-in-law as she slept in a car along the shores of Lake Maggiore. Police identified the victim as Angela Burgess, 32, of St. Petersburg. The mother of four died at the scene from multiple gunshot wounds, the 13th homicide in the city this year. ...more
