Disney Cruise Lines this week will begin to add 3-D technology to theaters on its Disney Magic and Disney Wonder cruise ships sailing from Port Canaveral to show first-run Disney films in 3-D format. This Disney Digital 3-D experience is being launched Friday on the Disney Wonder to coincide with the premiere of Walt Disney Pictures' newest animated feature, "Bolt." ...more

Rising gasoline prices, hotel rates, food expenses and an unfavorable international currency exchange continue to wreak havoc with vacation plans. But Terry Dale, president and chief executive of the Cruise Lines International Association, based in Fort Lauderdale, said predictions in January that 2008 would be a record year with 12.8 million cruise passengers still hold true.
