A 23-year-old Tampa man has been charged in a carjacking Tuesday in West Tampa. Police believe George Legrande, of 1802 E. 29th Ave., asked a 54-year-old Tampa man for a ride about 3:40 a.m., and the man agreed, an arrest report states. Legrande and the man walked to the man's gold 1988 Toyota Camry near Spruce Street and Willow Avenue, and the man opened his driver's side door and put a he key in the ignition. ...more
