TAMPA A woman spent her 43rd birthday in jail, accused of striking her husband in the head with a bottle and trying to throw her grandmother to the ground, police said. A Brandon woman was charged with felony child neglect after deputies said they found her driving drunk with her children in the car. Jennifer Ruth Carter, 27, was held at the Falkenburg Road Jail today on $2,750 bail, records show.
