TAMPA — Angry that his 9-year-old son wouldn't get out of bed, Gregory Allen Camp pulled the child's arms to get the boy to the bathroom, forced the child into the shower and turned the cold water on, Hillsborough County deputies say. Then the 36-year-old Thonotosassa man grabbed his boy by the back of the neck and lifted him, "placing his face in the stream of water," a criminal arrest affidavit states. During the 6:50 a.m. incident Monday, Camp placed the child on bathroom floor and struck him "on his head and face several times, causing bruising to his left eye." ...more
