Our son Nick was on Flight 253 from Amsterdam, coming home for Christmas after four months at sea, to be with his family. We thank God that the bomb this scum bag was carrying didn't detonate and that our son arrived safely the next day. This was truly a Christmas to be thankful for! Thinking about what could have been is made more difficult by the political issues being made of the "attempted murder" of our son and 277 other men, women and children. This is not a partisan political issue! I wonder what all the political pundits would be saying if someone tried to murder their son!
