Something absolutely must be done about the legalized extortion suffered by senior citizens at the hands of health insurance companies. My wife and I have been customers of our health insurance company for seven years. Please understand; most of us are okay. It is a small minority that disrupts our society, but when we witness wrongdoing and do nothing, we are also guilty. For example: my generation, the children of the Greatest Generation, pursued pot, marijuana, which led to cocaine and LSD, etc (not all of us.) We thought nothing of it, not conscious these drugs just don't go away. We accumulated and passed them on to future generations, not considering that years later the results would become evident, the amount and substance ingested dictating the degree of results. ...more
