Gov. Charlie Crist announced today that he has chosen Earl Lennard to be Hillsborough County's supervisor of elections. Lennard replaces Phyllis Busansky, a Democrat, who was elected in November 2008 and died last month. Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections Phyllis Busansky was found dead today in a St. Augustine hotel room, sheriff's officials in St. Johns County said. She was 72.
