TAMPA Southwest Airlines on May 9 will trim one daily round-trip flight between Tampa and four destinations -- Fort Lauderdale; Hartford, Conn.; Indianapolis; and Providence, R.I. -- but will maintain nonstop service between Tampa and those destinations in a systemwide reduction of flights. Tampa International Airport's busiest carrier will serve Fort Lauderdale with eight daily flights, Providence with two and Hartford and Indianapolis with one each on schedules between May 9 and June 26, the airline announced today. ...more
