People are listening to the insurance companies that would love to keep gouging us and dumping us when we actually get sick. All we want is affordable health care (not free) with real coverage when we need it. How about having an option to keep the corporations honest and fair? Everybody knows someone who would like to be able to purchase health insurance but can't afford it. Come on America, we can do way better. Why not just leave the health care alone, but just help us by governing what we have? It's really not all that bad. 1. One significant change would be to drop the pre-existing conditions. National health care has become the rule in every industrialized country in the world except for the richest one, the United States. This is a national disgrace that must end. Since the insurance industry has decided to place profitability before patient care, your help is necessary to end this morally reprehensible practice and once and for all guarantee Americans health insurance as a right. Many eyes are trained on Congress now and failing to carry out this popular mandate will surely jeopardize your personal chance for re-election.
