Bill Bernardi's letter is right on. Football has been fixed since Broadway Joe threw the 50-yard pass that won the Super Bowl game for the Jets many years ago. Everyone is in on it from the players, coaches and referees. A ref controls the placement of the ball for a first down; calls pass interference and roughing the passer.
