LAND O' LAKES State Rep. Will Weatherford, R-Wesley Chapel has stepped in for Congresswoman Ginny Brown-Waite to emcee Wednesday's Fair Tax Town Hall meeting. The meeting will feature U.S. Rep. John Linder, R-Georgia. Brown-Waite will not attend because her husband, Harvey Waite, died Tuesday at their Brooksville home from pancreatic cancer. Today's town hall meeting will be held 2-3:30 p.m. at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, Rosary Hall, 2348 Collier Parkway. At the event, attendees will be able to ask questions on tax reform, learn more about various reform measures pending in Congress and share their views. Linder is the author of the Fair Tax legislation, and the bestselling co-author of "The Fair Tax – Saying Goodbye to the Income Tax and the IRS." ...more
