Two Tampa Tribune editorial writers recently were honored for their work. Opinion Editor Joe Guidry was named the 2009 recipient of the Aldo Leopold Award for Distinguished Editorial Writing by the Wilderness Society. I have always been and still am amazed at the intelligence and command of the language of young Suzannah Beiner. However, I hope that she has learned a lesson in the column she wrote in the Aug. 5 edition of Highlands Today. She berated the media for not clamoring for more to be done to release Laura Ling and Euna Lee.
