Three gyms from the Bay area will send 20 local gymnasts to compete this weekend at the USA Gymnastics Level 9 Eastern Championships in Kettering, Ohio. Yates Tops Seminole Tire LAKE PLACID — Michelle Yates Insurance moved back into first place in the Lake Placid senior softball league with an 11-5 victory over Seminole Tire during Monday's league play at the Lake June Ball fields. Moe Pier led the winners at the plate with four hits, including a triple.
