FIRST TEAM Kim Carpenter, Berkeley Prep, Jr. Carpenter was one of the main reasons the Bucs advanced to the 1A state tournament for the first time since 2003, proving to be the team's most consistent player in the postseason. She claimed individual medalist honors at the District 14 tournament and finished seventh at the Region 5 tournament a week later. At state, Carpenter shot 82-83 in tough conditions to finish tied for 28th, a team best. ...more

FIRST TEAM Chris Biuso, King, Sr. Biuso proved again this season to be one of the area's most consistent golfers. The Lions standout finished with a regular-season average at par and registered two top-five finishes in the postseason. Biuso, a first-team All-Western Conference pick, finished as the individual runner-up at the 2A-District 11 tournament, and one week later finished tied for fifth at the Region 4 tournament, missing a state berth by two strokes. ...more
