Their defense continues to bend, but doesn't break. The Bucs have to look at this game much the way they did their games against the Rams back around the turn of the century. With former Rams coach Mike Martz running their offense, the Lions are going to throw the ball a lot and they'll probably gain plenty of yards. The Bucs have to make sure they don't gain the critical yards. They have to limit the Lions to field goals when they do allow them to score and force some turnovers that give their offense a chance to score quickly. Scoring a touchdown on defense wouldn't hurt the cause, either. ...more
