Every now and then we come across heartwarming stories of survival and beating the odds that put our own problems into perspective. Like that of Sebring High School junior Cody Breen. Breen looks like a regular kid. He plays the trumpet in the Sebring Marching Band and has dreams of graduating from high school and going to college. Just like many other kids his age. My husband and I are school bus drivers for the Sebring School District. We have been fortunate enough to have driven the Sebring Marching Band to several competitions throughout the state in the past two years, the most recent being last Saturday at Bradenton. We must say that it was a pleasure to have accompanied such a wonderful and talented group of young adults. They are fine ambassadors for the city of Sebring. They are admirable and deserve a big thank you from the community for their hard work. ...more

OK, so who sounds like an old man? Will Lively: 'Please, would somebody learn how to play an instrument? I'm sick and tired of all this mumblin' and grumblin' with these rhymes over old rock tunes.
