7:15 a.m.: Blaine Conte was about to spend a day mixing commerce and politics. On a normal day, Conte would be towing his hotdog-and-snack stand to construction sites. Today, he was set up outside the Jimmie B. Keel Regional Library in Tampa with enough franks and fixin's for 250 hot dogs. ...more

I write this in good faith, do you believe in the Christian way and fear God at all? Then you will realize the spiritual warfare at hand in this crucial hour, in our nations and state. This election is just that, if you do not vote Bible we are in serious trouble. This election should not be about black, white, Hispanic, etc., it should be about moral and spiritual Bible believing people coming together for mercy and blessings from God to us, not how taxes, medical issues, war, or recessions are being promised to go away on both sides, but our love for our nation to stand up and vote prolife. ...more

What has he accomplished that rates him up there with those who have made a difference? ...more

Bush fighting a war that clearly was a waste of lives to our brave men and women. He was looking for WMD's or his misguided delusions instead of going after the "real" terrorists. It's a war we cannot win. This, no less, is right in the Bible! So now what? How about a change? Oh, I know we can't trust Obama right? How about McCain and his Palin? Now my point is, if Obama was named, say, Barry Jones, and had endorsed the same ideas that he has, he would be thought of as the next JFK. Do we really want four more years of the same old Republican baloney? I sure don't. ...more

I am reminded of the Pied Piper of Hamelin. He came to town and played a haunting, strange tune on his pipe. The children of the town were attracted to this tune and fell in line behind him. Away they went, the Pied Piper and the youth, and they were never seen again. ...more
