I find it interesting that so many of the people that were helped by FEMA, (a.k.a. taxpayers) feel that they should not have to repay for the housing and other services that were provided them in an emergency situation. There has been a few million dollars in fraud and theft that will never be recovered, and some people are still living in trailers and hotels supplied by us and have just milked the system to the extreme. ...more

SEBRING — A "high-caliber" arts and crafts festival will be making its debut at Sebring's Circle on Jan. 19-20. Howard Alan, a widely recognized coordinator of art and craft shows nationwide, will be organizing Sebring's first show, which he described as "a high-quality craft fair." "We will have a couple million dollars of work on display and artists from probably 10 states," Alan said. "Everything sold is hand-crafted, original work made in America."
