The Cardinals really have struggled out of the gate this year, having scored six first-quarter points all season. No one in Arizona seems to know the reason; it could be QB Matt Leinart's so-so play before his season-ending injury, or the work of a young offensive line. The fallout, however, is obvious. The Cardinals are 1-4 when they exit the first quarter down on the scoreboard. Playing catch-up is no way to make a successful go of it in the NFL, so the Bucs will want to add to the misery and frustration today by scoring first and putting the Cardinals in a bind.
