The top 10 list for gas guzzlers for 2010 have come out; the bottom two are American, the rest are Japanese, British and German. Yes, Hummer made number 10 but was forgiven due to its unmatched off-road capabilities. No. 1 goes to the Porsche Cayenne. Now, why is the outcry against the Hummer not heard for the foreign cars? It was with the utmost shock and disappointment that my husband and I read in the newspaper that Sen. JD Alexander proposed cutting state employees salaries by 5 percent due to the lack of state funds. State employees in Florida are already the lowest paid government employees.
