NAFTA and the sweetheart deal given to China and India must be canceled, otherwise the American worker and the financial stability of this nation will never recover. China's population is about six times the population of the United States, as is India's. The wage scale in both China and India is almost that of a shoe shine boy. The different wage scales in past history has required tariffs so as not to destroy the economies of all nations. Tariff is not a dirty word. It has been used to correct disparities in wages for thousands of years. ...more

A lot of our problems stem from the North American Trade Union plan. This idea started with NAFTA in Bush Sr.'s administration; many of us knew very little about what NAFTA actually was. MoveOn.org was not the first to suspect "Betray-us" was a name that may be a more appropriate title for him. I coined that title as soon as he was appointed. I based it on the fact that: 1. He went from a two star to a four star general in a very short time. 2. He was preceded by several high-ranking military Bush appointees, who were nothing but incompetent yes men, starting with Tommy Franks, then Myers, Casey, Sanchez, Pace, etc. I consider them political whores. Anyone who refused to say yes to Bush's demands was fired, or resigned rather than be a part of this administration's insanity. ...more
