SEBRING — Since 1994, Democrats have gained 20,000 registrations. Republicans have added 40,000. But the others — the 26 minor parties and voters with no party affiliation — have gained nearly 70,000 men and women. "I think that's the motor voter registrations more than anything else," said Pat Hogan, chairman of the Democratic Executive Committee of Highlands County. Froma Harrop, in her column "Democrats Are Normal People," takes Newt Gingrich to task for calling Democrats "the enemies of normal people." She went on to say, "Democrats have emerged as the champions of horse sense and competent government." When the Iranians grabbed our embassy and our people, then President Jimmy Carter showed "horse sense" and allowed them to be held for 444 days thus showing the world that we were cowards and wouldn't fight back. These Democrats worship at the altar of secular humanism. Their most sacred sacrament is to preserve the perceived right of a woman to have her baby slaughtered as 41 million have been killed since 1973. The second most sacred sacrament is to promote and support homosexuals and lesbian, gay marriage and all other deviant lifestyles. ...more
