COLTS ...27 TITANS ...17 Indianapolis tied the NFL record for longest winning streak, beating Tennessee for its 21st consecutive regular-season victory. The only other team to win that many in a row: New England from 2006-08. The Colts can break the record next week at home against Denver. The victory also extended the Colts' league mark for most consecutive 12-win seasons to seven and ended the Titans' five-game winning streak. Peyton Manning threw one TD pass, Joseph Addai ran for two scores and the Colts spent the second half protecting the lead. It was the first time in six games Indy didn't need a fourth-quarter comeback to win. Tennessee's Chris Johnson ran 27 times for 113 yards, his seventh straight 100-yard game, but failed to become the first player in league history to top 125 yards rushing in seven straight. ...more

COLTS ...42 RAMS ...6 Peyton Manning threw for three touchdowns but didn't get a chance for a sixth straight 300-yard passing game in Indianapolis' rout of winless St. Louis. It wouldn't have been appropriate for Manning to try to tie the NFL record the way his unbeaten team was beating up on the woeful Rams. The Colts defense got its first score of the year on rookie Jacob Lacey's 35-yard interception return. Looking fresh coming off their bye, the Colts won their 15th straight regular-season game and set a franchise record with their eighth straight road victory. St. Louis lost its 17th straight regular-season game. ...more
