All branches of the military were recognized when Northwest Elementary School hosted its annual Veterans Day program Nov. 9. Military guests visited classrooms and spoke to the children throughout the day. The PTA held a breakfast in honor of the veterans. The Hillsborough County School TV crew recorded the program, which consisted of speakers from different branches of the military, the Northwest chorus and patriotic songs sung by each grade level.
