Well, baseball fans, it's been an intriguing season filled with blockbuster trades, comeback players, underachieving talent and, yes, a few diamonds in the rough. However, with fantasy football season starting soon, this will be my final article in print for the 2008 season. NEW YORK Buster Posey capped one of the greatest seasons in Florida State history by winning the 2008 Golden Spikes Award as announced by USA Baseball on Wednesday. Posey becomes the fourth Seminole to capture the award, joining Mike Fuentes (1981), Mike Loynd (1986) and J.D. Drew (1997). ...more
