So Young, So Hateful; Rall Really Rails Every morning, I look forward to a good breakfast along with Hernando Today. I don't usually read Ted Rall's editorials, but today was the exception. In the first five paragraphs (that was all I could take) he said "Mike Huckabee may not be smart enough to hold a job; he's a crazy Christian and he won because crazy Christians motivated by anti-Mormon bigotry voted for him. In the Republican Party, hate trumps cash. If Huckabee were Muslim, he'd be a radical Islamist denying separation of church and state." Etc., etc., etc. ...more

LAND O' LAKES - A pharmacy was robbed shortly after a robbery attempt at a nearby pharmacy Friday night, and detectives still were trying to determine Wednesday whether the robbers were the same person. ...more

After another trip to my local pharmacy to buy my husband his much needed allergy medication, I have come to the conclusion that this ridiculous law requiring photo ID and a one box limit per 15-day period for allergy and cold medication is ridiculous. It certainly isn't stopping the criminals from manufacturing illegal drugs. Surprisingly, they manage to supply their drug without any problems, as you can see if you watch a newscast or pick up a paper. ...more
