The best bang for the buck is to "stop the bleeding, stop the war." Bring the troops home from all nations. We can no longer be the world's policeman. We have bases all over the world that we can no longer support, short of borrowing millions of dollars a day, which is destroying us financially. The best that America can do for the entire world is to stabilize our financial institutions. The entire world's economy is tied to the American economy. America must re-build its own industries and its infrastructure, not of other nations with the American tax dollar, as well as borrowing money from other nations at huge interest. We must also work toward energy independence, which is the biggest cause of a failed economy. The many regulations that were put in place to regulate financial institutions for the last two decades have been ignored and have created criminal lending practices. These have happened under the watch of both political parties. This illegal lending will create a huge tax bill for all Americans. ...more

SEBRING — By 2 p.m., almost 29 percent of Highlands County's registered voters had gone to the polls, which impressed officials of both political parties. "I think that's impressive," said Marian Perrin, who serves on the Democratic steering committee. Highlands County has 63,118 registered voters. The out-sourcing and the hiring of illegals, the hiring of guest workers, have all caused a decline of America's wage scale, and is directly the cause of our collapsed economy. Our young men and women who are fighting this illegal war in Iraq will be very upset when this war is brought to a close and they come home to a job market that has been filled with illegals and guest workers. There will be many thousands of unemployed veterans who will not take kindly to not being able to get jobs that they feels should be theirs. The Democrats are unwilling to debate illegal immigration, and guest workers who are not needed when we have a declining economy. If they are unwilling to represent the American working class, then the next president will more than likely be Mitt Romney, who has taken a strong stand on illegals and guest workers, and to take a look at all the "unfair trade deals." ...more

The will of the people is being violated by many organizations, churches, unions,. Unions were organized to represent "we the people," but if you look how the wage scale has remained low for the last 50 years, and how many of our largest unions represent and promote foreign nationals, creating huge numbers of people for each and every job, forcing wage scales down. The AF of C, Teamsters, United Auto Workers, United Aircraft Workers are just a few. Many of these unions have corporations sitting on both sides of the negotiating table on all contracts. This was made illegal many years ago, in the 75th Congress, where the Pinkerton Detective Agency had infiltrated the leadership of many unions for corporations, so as to control unions. ...more
