Chamber music, costumes and candy will combine for an afternoon treat at Independent Day School. The private school is offering its Reflections concert series with a Halloween twist this month. The Riverside Brass Quintet from New York will perform at 4 p.m. Oct. 28 at the school's Farish Center, 12015 Orange Grove Drive. The program will last about an hour and is open to the public. About 180 teachers, administrators and middle school students observed the United Nations' International Day of Peace on Sept. 21 by forming a human peace sign at the private school in Carrollwood.
