TAMPA - University of South Florida senior linebacker Tyrone McKenzie and defensive end George Selvie were named to the coaches' All-Big East first-team defense, the league announced Wednesday. TAMPA – Cincinnati's Brian Kelly was a unanimous choice for coach of the year, while Pittsburgh running back LeSean McCoy and linebacker Scott McKillop were the offensive and defensive players of the year in the media's second annual All-Big East football team. The Bearcats, who won the league title under Kelly, dominated the team, with eight players selected.
